ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Karabakh horse is a national symbol of Azerbaijan, representing strength and grace. This ensemble, sculpted by American artist Robert Summers, features seven distinct horses and was unveiled in Baku to commemorate Azerbaijan's 2020 victory and national heritage.

Pyrology cast sections of the monument at our facility in Bastrop. Members of the foundry crew flew to Azerbaijan, where final assembly, welding, patina, finishing and installation were completed onsite over a 2-week period.
