ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University unveiled the 12-foot 6,000 pound replica of the Aggie Ring at the Haynes Ring Plaza on campus in College Station. Each semester, Aggie Ring Day festivities are celebrated with this monument as the centerpiece. The top of the ring contains a specially constructed time capsule. In addition to the large version, several smaller rings were produced for various purposes.
